Led by Psychonaut’s Artistic Director, Arielle Zilkha, this session is made for artists of any discipline and level, who want to develop their artistic brand and identity. The session will equip you with insights needed to view your artistic practice with a business mindset, looking at developing your brand, whether you are an individual or a company. We will dive into exploring areas such as developing key partnerships, finding your niche, and building your profile with marketing and PR, through practical, reflective exercises and open discussion. We will also analyse and reflect on some industry examples. Through the 90 minute session, you’ll be equipped with practical advice and actionable steps, to channel your inner producer and develop a unique, strategic presence in London’s cultural scene.
Arielle Zilkha
Arielle Zilkha is the Artistic Director of Psychonaut Theatre, an international hub for performance artists, which she founded in 2021. She works as a multidisciplinary producer, theatre-maker, performer and composer across the London and international fringe scene, having trained on BA Acting and Performance at Wimbledon College of Arts and MA Advanced Theatre Practice at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has produced and performed in Psychonaut productions in venues such as Tate Britain, The Koppel Project, Camden People’s Theatre and Riverside Studios. Her producing practice sees her bring international productions to London, working with organisations such as the Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium (Denmark). As the AD of Psychonaut, she strives to create a space for international performance practices to be explored and for an alternative performance scene to thrive in the U.K.
